Purpose/Event:
North Section, Alabama AGC is hosting their annual golf tournament at the Colonial Golf Course in Meridianville. This event raises money for charity in Alabama. This year's charity will be the AGC Alabama Scholarship Foundation. During the lunch, a representative from the AGC Alabama Scholarship Foundation will address attendees and the amount of money that was donated through hole sponsorships for the Foundation will be announced. The tournament includes a round of golf as well as meals, de minimis awards and refreshments served in connection with the tournament. AGC members are invited to attend the event at a per-person charge which will defray all of the costs of hosting the tournament and provide funds which will be contributed by Alabama AGC to the charity chosen. Nothing is provided to the public employees attending except a waiver of the entry fees.
