Purpose/Event:
The Downtown Mobile District Management Corporation & Downtown Mobile Alliance are having their Annual Meeting and Main Street Awards Luncheon in the RSA Battle House. The speaker for the event will be Jeff Speck. The meeting is the event during which they report on their activities to revitalize downtown the previous year and the opportunities for the coming year. The Main Street Awards are given out to individuals and organizations that have undertaken important works during the previous year. Tables of ten are sold to businesses and individuals who then have the ability to invite interested parties. They may invite public officials. Additionally, there will be a smaller reception of 75 - 100 individuals for Thursday evening, or Friday morning, depending on the speaker's schedule. This will also be held in the Battle House with sponsors, board members, and elected officials invited. Light hors d'oeuvres will be passed and beverages will be provided for the evening event. A light breakfast may be served at the breakfast event. * Contingent upon a list of invited public officials or employees being provided to the Commission prior to the event.
