Key Principals and owners form ACEC/Alabama member engineering companies, professional service providers and industry suppliers. Occasionally, our member consulting engineers invite their clientele to participate in the tournament as a guest. These guests may include public officials, and/or public employees.
Purpose/Event:
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Alabama will host its annual Spring Golf Classic at the Ballantrae Golf Course in Pellham, AL. A General Session will be held at the front end of the tournament, to provide valuable continuing educational credits for our registered professional engineers, and industry partners. An educational session, lunch, golf and cart, and a sleeve of balls will be provided to attendees. The topic and speakers have not yet been determined. Proceeds from the golf tournament will go to the ACEC/Alabama Operations Fund to subsidize our governmental and legislative affairs expenditures for the coming fiscal year. These costs include ACEC's contract lobbying fee, legislative monitoring service, potential legal fees and other budgetary line items not covered through membership dues, and other non-dues revenue generating programming.
