This includes educational institutions, banks, law firms, service industries, small business that include IT, the aerospace industry, pharmaceutical companies and a myriad of other business and organizations in north Alabama.
Purpose/Event:
The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce is excited to bring Alabama Governor Kay Ivey to Huntsville to update the business community on key state issues during the 2019 Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon. This is the governor's annual address to local business and civic leaders. This event will be held at the VBC North Hall, 700 Monroe St. Huntsville, AL 35801. Huntsville and Madison County continue to experience tremendous growth, and the governor typically uses this opportunity to discuss further development and progress. Through this event, the Chamber is pleased to help foster communication between Gov. Ivey and large and small businesses as we help north Alabama continue to grow.The ticket price is $35, the cost of food is $22. The Chamber of Commerce Huntsville/Madison County will pay/absorb the cost of any free attendance by elected officials. Nothing else will be offered to the employee or spouse other than a gift of free attendance. The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce has hosted this event for many years and is always pleased when representatives of the both the House and Senate are able to join. This promotes understanding between all involved.
