Purpose/Event:
The Automobile Dealers Association of Alabama, Inc. (ADAA) is hosting 4 Educational Seminars for their members in late January involving 3 or 4 personnel (names to be determined) from the Alabama Department of Revenue who will be presenting the information. These events, 2020 Dealer Updates, will review in detail the newly released sale, use and lease tax guide and new laws and regulations impacting leasing and taxing computer software. Each seminar will be about 2 ½ hours long. The fourth event will be held in Montgomery, Alabama at the Alabama Department of Revenue. Cost for ADAA Members is $49 and non-members is $99. The Department (state) will pay for the hotel rooms for their employees. ADAA will pay meal costs for the speakers at the event. *If principal is paying, then meal limit is $50 per/ $250 annual cap.
