Every member of the Legislature, Judiciary and Executive Branch of Government is invited including agency heads and other government officials. In addition, a great number of public officials from all branches of state government will be invited.
Purpose/Event:
Manufacture Alabama is hosting their annual Legislative Reception and Dinner on the first day of the Legislative Session. It will take place at the Montgomery Renaissance Hotel. The event will include an agenda with educational and informational programming. Specifically, Manufacture Alabama will give an update and review of all recent developments and trends in workforce development, and in particular, it will discuss the implementation of the reauthorization of the Workforce Investment Opportunity Act. An update will also be given on the Alabama Workforce Council's initial recommendations that have been implemented and a preview of the Alabama Workforce Council's new recommendations. This event is a widely attended event that will be sponsored by Manufacture Alabama member companies and attended by representatives of those companies. Manufacture Alabama will provide food and beverages to all attendees.
