Purpose/Event:
The Alabama Council of Association Executives is hosting their ACAE Sporting Clays Outing, to be held at the Lower Wetumpka Shotgun Sports Club. The Outing begins with registration at 1:30 p.m., followed by a presentation, shooting, and a barbecue dinner. ACAE's members who sponsor a team may invite an elected official or public employee to the event. Proceeds from the event will be used to provide scholarships to their Annual Meeting in October. A presentation on the impact of The Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act, popularly known as the Pittman–Robertson Act will be provided. The act provides funding for the selection, restoration, and improvement of wildlife habitat, and for wildlife management research. The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has been invited to make the presentation.
