BCA is hosting their annual Government Affairs Conference (GAC) July 30 – August 1. The Telecom Partners (ACBA—Alabama Cable & Broadband Association, Crown Castle, Lumen, and AT&T) are interested in hosting a dinner for legislators involved in Broadband issues. BCA annually brings hundreds of state legislators, legislative staff, business leaders, government officials, trade associations, and non-profits together for the largest statewide governmental affairs conference in Alabama. This GAC provides state legislators an opportunity to discuss economic, tax, and business development issues of great interest to their various constituencies. The GAC is a widely attended event and has a variety of educational components. Please consider this as a formal request for the Alabama Ethics Commission to pre-certify the Telecom Partners Dinner during the BCA GAC. The Telecom Partners will give an educational presentation discussing Broadband, capital investment networks, fiber, 5G, advanced next generation communication networks and related issues. All four sponsors will be given the same opportunity to present or to introduce themselves. Details are below: Date of Telecom Partners Dinner during BCA GAC: Saturday July 31 Location: Fairhope Inn, Fairhope, AL Time: Reception at 6:00 p.m.; Presentation at 6:15 p.m.; Dinner: 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Invitees: Representatives Baker, Collins, Hall, Lovvorn, and Scott Dinner Sponsors: ACBA, Crown Castle, Lumen and AT&T
