Invitations will be distributed to members of the Alabama Legislature, Alabama Soil and Water Conservation Committee, and Alabama Agriculture Conservation and Development Commission. Others invited will include state employees from the Soil and Water Conservation Committee, ADECA Office of Water Resources, Department of Agriculture and Industries, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Office of Governor Kay Ivey, and leaders of other associations and nonprofits, who AACD works in partnership with to conserve Alabama's natural resources.

CANCELLED TO BE RESCHEDULED The Alabama Association of Conservation Districts respectfully requests precertification approval for an open house reception at 302 Alabama Street in Montgomery on January 26, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, for networking and to showcase its new office facility. Reception style hor d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served with an estimated value of less than $10 per person. Total attendance for this come-and-go style event is expected to be 150, and educational information related to conserving Alabama's natural resources will be on display.
