This year’s meeting will include a briefing from federal and statewide elected officials and ECA will also honor a number of elected officials with awards from our association throughout the conference program. ECA’s widely-attended conference averages 350 attendees which consists mainly of representatives of ECA members (i.e., public officials and public employees) and associate members and their families.
Purpose/Event:
Electric Cities of Alabama's 2022 Annual Meeting and Governmental Affairs Conference will be held in Miramar Beach, Florida, July 10-13, 2022, at the Hilton Sandestin. This meeting allows ECA members, associate members and other invited guests to hear a number of speakers important to the electric industry. Hospitality. meals and other food and beverages will he provided to those in attendance. ECA also proposes to pay or reimburse the actual and necessary lodging expenses of statewide officials and state legislators who will be honored during this meeting and will give a presentation during the conference. Each elected official will be listed on the agenda and will play a significant role in the conference. In addition, ECA proposes to pay or reimburse the actual and necessary ledging expenses of other Alabama elected officials that participate in the conference general session discussions as outlined above in respect to electric utility industry topics.
