Event Description: November is Nonprofit Awareness Month and the South Alabama Coalition of Nonprofits would like to hold our annual reception for elected officials in/around Mobile on November 4, 2025, 5:30pm- 7:30pm. The SACNP is a group of nonprofits that share a common purpose based on increasing effectiveness in nonprofit organizations; increasing advocacy for those who receive our services and for the nonprofit sector; and increasing public awareness and support of the nonprofit sector in our communities. The goals of this reception are to educate elected officials on the importance of and the impact of nonprofit agencies in South Alabama and allow an opportunity for elected officials and members of the SACNP to mingle, answer questions, and have meaningful conversations. We invite elected officials in Mobile and Baldwin Counties and provide a light buffet. The reception will be held on the “Causeway” at the Blue Gill Restaurant which is convenient to both Counties. Last year we had a great turn-out and we all look forward to this event each year. We have SACNP pens/ cups/ huggers available for those interested in some “swag”.
