Purpose/Event:
The Alabama Farmers Federation will host The National FFA (Future Farmers of America) Convention to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 30 & 31. There is tremendous value in public and elected officials attending this event. The invited officials are policymakers who, in their official capacities, impact career and technical education, of which FFA is an integral part. This convention is the largest student gathering in the world, annually drawing more than 60,000 attendees. As Alabama students build relationships with others from across the country, they will also compete in career development events and learn more about the careers they might seek in the agriculture industry.
