Event Description: The South Alabama Coalition of Nonprofits will hold a reception for elected officials on November 12th at The Blue Gill Restaurant 5:30pm-7:30pm. The SACNP is a group of nonprofit organizations that share a common purpose based in increasing effectiveness in nonprofit organizations; increasing advocacy for those who receive our services and for the nonprofit sector; and increasing public awareness and support of the nonprofit sector in our communities. The goals of the reception are to educate elected officials on the importance of and the impact of nonprofit organizations in South Alabama and allow an opportunity for elected officials and members of the SACNP to mingle, answer questions, and have meaningful conversations.
