Purpose/Event:
Seabulk Towing Inc. is hosting a Maritime Industry Crawfish Boil. The Host has actively promoted the Alabama State Port Authority and a wide cross section of the maritime community are invited which allows the Port Authority the opportunity to spend quality time to cement the relationship with our current customers and solicit additional business with those who use our facilities and familiarize prospective customers with all the port has to offer. The networking opportunities to promote both business development and industrial development will be tremendously helpful. We determined last year that 48 of our employees were invited (only about half ever actually attend) and that the host advised the cost per person based on their total attendees of 350 - 400 people is between $20 and $25 per person which falls under the de minimis amount. *Seabulk is not a registered principal. Cannot be used as an opportunity to corruptly influence official action. 36-25-7 Contingent on providing a list of PA staff attending to Commission.
