Purpose/Event:
North Section, Alabama Associated General Contractors is hosting their annual golf tournament which raises money for a charity in Alabama. During our lunch we will have a representative from AGC Alabama Scholarship Foundation address the attendees and we will announce the amount of money that was donated through hole sponsorships for the AGC Alabama Scholarship Foundation. The golf tournament is held annually at the Colonial Golf Course in Meridianville. The tournament fee is $75 per person and includes a round of golf as well as meals, de minimis awards and refreshments served in connection with the tournament. Nothing is being provided to the public employees other than a waiver of the entry fees to the tournament. The Alabama Scholarship Foundation is a 501c3 and should meet the criteria for a charity. *Contingent on providing list of public employees who are invited prior to event. Cannot be used as an opportunity to corruptly influence official action.<br />
