Members of the Alabama Legislature and family members, all Members of the House Financial Services Committee and Rules Committee, the Speaker of the House, the Majority Leader and the Minority Leader; and all Members of the Senate Banking & Insurance Committee, Rules Committee, President Pro Tern, Majority Leader and Minority Leader. In addition, we want to invite legislators who are knowledgeable about our industry and who are influential in sharing that information with their fellow legislators, or have specifically expressed to us an interest in learning the substantive details of our industry. We also plan to invite Superintendent of Banks Hill, Supervisor Scott Corscadden, and former Chair of the Alabama Ethics Commission General Ed Crowley to be a part of our program. Spouses of public officials are invited as well as family.
Purpose/Event:
Our Annual Meeting is an opportunity for our members to explain to Legislators and other public officials the importance of consumer credit to our citizens and to the Alabama economy. The participation of Legislators will include being at all events, except the business meeting of the Association. That is, they will be invited to Friday educational sessions and will be asked to speak about the 2022 Legislative Session.
