The invited officials are members of the education budget committees who help fund this program and who, in their official capacities, impact career and technical education, of which Ag in the Classroom is an integral part.
Purpose/Event:
The Alabama Ag in the Classroom Conference will be held in Opelika, Alabama from June 1-3 of 2022. For more than 20 years, the Alabama Farmers Federation has been coordinating this event for teachers from across the state to showcase unique ways to incorporate agriculture in their daily lesson plans. This conference will bring in close to 100 teachers from across the state of Alabama to learn and grow from some of the best speakers in STEM technology.
