Event Description: the South Alabama Coalition of Nonprofits (SACNP) would like to host the annual Elected Officials Reception on October 29, 2024 6:00pm-8:00pm. The SACNP is a group of nonprofits that share a common purpose based on increasing effectiveness in nonprofit organizations; increasing advocacy for those who receive our services and for the nonprofit sector; and increasing public awareness and support of the nonprofit sector in our community. The goals of the reception each year are to educate elected officials on the importance of and the impact of nonprofit agencies in South Alabama and allow an opportunity for elected officials and members of the SACNP to mingle, answer questions, and have meaningful conversation. We plan to hold it at the Blue Gill Restaurant on the causeway between Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
